Look, the official casualties reported by the Russian Minister of Defence are around 1000 a day, not 2000. And the total AFU losses can't be so high. I don't know where you got these numbers but they are wrong. Also a troop is a group of soldiers, or troopers. So what you say is totally incorrect.

This is true and false at the same time. The war had a huge impact on the US inflation, because the US didn't have that money, it was force to print it. Second, as a consequence of the war against Ukraine, Russia lost a lot of old equipment, that has been replaced with new one. Russia renovated factories, improved the logistic, and it is currently the most powerful and organised army in the world, which it was not, before this war. And finally, Russia learned how to fight a conflict in 2024, which is something no one had no idea. And all the US investment went in the wrong direction. The navy is practically useless, because with drones and missiles it takes a minute to destroy any ship, even the biggest ones. Tanks are mostly obsolete pieces of crap, because they have no counter against simple drones, or javelins. And Russia improved a lot its production of drones as well. So, what he said could have been true, but it is really not. I think Russia is now in a way better position it was before the war, because it will continue the production of armaments even after the war ends. The US fucked up badly, like it does all the time.

I think (some) Russian missiles are more advanced that the Western counterparts, but Patriot is probably superior to any Russian air defence system. That is why Ukraine was able to hold for so much long. Also the missiles used by Himars are something Russia struggled to shot down, proving the Himars is somehow better that any similar weapon in force to the Russian army. But you know, overall Western technology has always been more advanced than Russian technology, but Russia somehow invested a lot in ICBMs, as a deterrent. And in that regard, Russia is the one to lead.

@Rob-vv5yn it is true that many of the missiles can be now intercepted, but many still go through. Russia just lost a S400 system. This should not have happened. Considering the amount of missiles Russia sent, it is fair to assume Ukraine air defence did a great job, and in my opinion, Western air defence systems have been proved superior. Russia sent hundreds and hundreds of missiles, managing to destroy a bunch of air defence systems. Zelensky asked 7 more patriots to cover the front. in comparison Ukraine sent very few missiles, but still managed to destroy a significative number of S300/S400. Either Russia does not have enough air defence, either his systems aren't good as the American/European counterpart.

What you say about Zelensky is wrong. He can indeed extend the martial law again, for another 90 days, and so on. As far as I know there is no term defined by law. He will certainly extend it, and still be the legal President. Unless the parliament decides to have a new election, which I doubt at this point, because it is totally under his control. It is a dictatorship at the moment. Zelensky knows that he will lose the elections to Zaluzhnyi, the polls are clearly in favour of the ex commander. So Zelensky will try to stay in charge as long as possible, with the hope that the congress unlock the 61 billions for Ukraine. That would be his last chance to rob Ukraine once again, he won't lose it.
