Are you planning on covering Gigabyte Technologies? They make great computer motherboards, just like ASUS. And do manufacturing in Taiwan too!

Another great company profile from one of YouTube's best channels. ASUS produces some really great products. For advanced home users, ASUS Wi-Fi routers in particular are some of the best around, especially because the community supported "Merlin" firmware is just so good, and helps unlock some very useful features for advanced users. It's hard to find routers that has such great community support but with a firmware project like Asuswrt-Merlin it makes recommending ASUS routers really easy. The fact ASUS is based in Taiwan and does a lot of manufacturing in Taiwan makes the choice really easy. Other router manufacturers like TP-Link are based in China, which is obviously problematic for network infrastructure.

I should also mention that ASUS RoG (Republic of Gamers) equipment including the ASUS "Strix" brand are also really great in my experience. Yes they have the over-the-top design of most gaming hardware (multicolored LED lights etc), but they have been great bang-for-buck every time I've researched their stuff. For smartphones my advice is currently "just buy the mid-range Samsung phone with the 5000+ mAh battery and a very high resolution screen) but for computing equipment the advice of "just buy ASUS/ROG and Gigabyte hardware" is actually pretty reasonable.

The only ASUS product I've ever been disappointed with was a *very* low-end Windows 10 laptop that had 32GB of non-expandable storage in around 2015. For Windows 10 the 32GB of storage wasn't even enough to do a Windows Update. Microsoft later created a workaround that used an external USB drive as a temporary storage medium to do the Windows Update, but I can't believe Microsoft (and ASUS) even allowed a laptop to be released with such a low amount of storage. Other than that I've had very good experiences with ASUS products and recommend ASUS, Gigabyte (and Samsung) for those who want high quality (and relatively cheap) electronics that has been made outside China.

ASUS makes the best routers. In addition to the official firmware there's a really great community firmware project called ASUS-Merlin.

Both are acceptable: pronunciation as "Neesh" is British English and pronunciation as "Nitch" is American English.
