One measurable metric it will certainly be far better on. Cost. The ISS has cost $150 billion dollars.

The Boeing CEO between 1945 and 1968 studied law and doesn't appear to me to have been an engineer. His name was William McPherson Allen. From Wikipedia: While he was president of Boeing, he made the famous decision in 1952 to "bet the company", when he authorized construction of the Boeing 367-80 and again when he authorized the launch of development of the Boeing 707.[3] He also participated in launching other planes of renown, among them the Boeing 727, Boeing 737, and Boeing 747.

@mauricegold9377 The Virgin Galactic deposit is only few kilobucks, not a few hundred kilobucks. I'm sure Wally Funk will be fine. Also flying on Virgin Galactic in a few years would break her own record as the world's oldest astronaut! I'm sure she'd love to do that too :)

He also works as a software engineer at Apple on video codecs if I recall correctly. So it makes sense he has a great understanding of the pipeline from camera sensors to digital images, and the algorithms used to do the processing.

Starship will be profitable as a fully and rapidly re-usable Earth based launcher (including StarLink and potentially Earth-to-Earth) even if manned Mars missions weren't on the horizon

0:34 I'm not Russian, but the proper pronunciation of "Energia" in English (from "энергия" meaning Energy) is not En-er-jia but En-er-gee-a.

You should walk around the city you're in while you do your talk like a vlogger. Use a selfie stick too. Makes the video part more interesting than a static background. Audio content was good though!

"Astra" not to be confused with "Ad Astra" creators of the VASIMR engine
