  1. When I was 14, my friends and I were all using Skype to play League, and it boggled my mind there wasn't something better. I definitely expected something like Discord was only a matter of time, and we were so happy to start using it the moment we found out about it. Still use it almost everyday, about 6 years later. The product was desperately needed, and with the insane growth of the creator economy we see today, the importance of community building will only increase. Discord is still perfectly positioned to fulfill that need! Great video John!
