  1. This isn't a new thing: there is a propaganda value to the X-Files mythology. It makes the US seem more competent and scary. And attempts to justify defence spending and government secrecy, the cult of government. There's been ex-agency sources involved for years.

  2. He doesn't seem honest, it feels like a play, like a film. The fact there's also 'Alien takeover' TV series that seems like Hawkish propaganda in its trailers is bothering me!
