  2. I remember a documentary about maybe crusaders by Monty Python's Terry Jones. He said the regiment took washerwomen with them but they were (quoting some historical record) - not considered an occasion for sin!

  3. I always wondered why, whether it was the effects of washing regularly. I still doubt that nobody went there and it does seem unfair.
