@leighannclements7849 How can you say he didn't know it was the Police, the flashing blue lights, sirens and battenburg markings on the vehicles are a give away, and it's not as if he didn't have previous experience with Police as he's been arrested and convicted before.

@KemetledAfrica you say seated in His car, I thought the defence was that it wasn't his car, he'd stolen it, and it was just a coincidence it was involved in a shooting recently. Stop trying to blame others for the outcome he destined.

@leighannclements7849 It's an opening statement, not a total summary. Clearly states he drove at officers vehicles. It doesn't state it was dark though so with your logic perhaps it was daylight.

He was asked 12 times to exit the vehicle, with the vehicle flagged for firearms the day before, and him having numerous firearms convictions they were forced to shoot to stop him endangering Police and the Public.
