@punchblmers192 The same way a cop can grab a gun in one second so they can protect themselves & others from people threatening to hurt them! There’s only so much a cop or equipment changes can do, before you put everyone else’s lives at risk of the cop having difficulty getting their guns out in an emergency, on the extremely rare off chance that some kid in a crisis ambushes a cop & grabs his gun within a couple of seconds of him opening the door to help her 🤷‍♀️ There was no reason to think that someone was planning that. Even that she managed to carry that out so flawlessly is a one in a billion fluke!

And of course the teen’s family have already started the process to sue the cops to get a payday, instead of putting the blame where it belongs - on their daughter & on whatever led up to her stealing a cop’s gun in the first place! 🙄 Ah America. Land of the “I’ll sue you!””it’s always someone else’s fault” lawsuit. But prior to this, NO cop or reasonable person would suspect that a teenage girl coming to a police station door & asking for help would be planning to steal a gun in less than 3 seconds & top herself, so sorry. No payday for you. Sadly, from now on they apparently must suspect it though & perhaps all police stations need a physical buffer between cops & the public at the front door, so there’s no close contact until a person’s motives & purpose are discovered. Because too many people are bringing their violence to the police station.

@XDaddyBender She deliberately grabbed the gun the second he opened the door & put it to her head - she did NOT pull the trigger by accident 🙄 Why would she have grabbed the gun in the first place if she wasn’t intending on using it? SHE came to the police station herself. She wasn’t in custody or trouble
