  2. Tbh Alec is a victim. Being trans must be horrible, especially as a teenager - having some people hate you & bully you for something beyond your control, having few people truly understand what you’re going through & never feeling like you fit in. Doesn’t mean that he deserves anything less than life in prison for this. Devon on the other hand, seemed like he was trying too hard to make himself seem like a victim & lied the whole way through.

He definitely had multiple chances to end this. And that phone call with his “girlfriend” is sickening. He’s a sadist. I’m glad he got the sentence he did. They both deserved life in prison with no chance of parole. Hopefully the extra 1282 yrs wiped the smirk off Devon’s face for a while.

  4. The kids who fought back were amazingly brave & so heartbreaking that Kendrick didn’t survive. So horrific that this is so common in America that kids have probably thought long & hard about how they will react in this situation.

  5. @SHISH_STYLEPeople don’t choose to be transgender - it’s basically the soul being born in the wrong body. They choose whether to dress, take medication & get surgery to help their body align with the type of person they feel they are, and admittedly, I am sure there are a very few kids who get caught up in the novelty of it, but true transgender people are born the way they are & start showing differences from before they even understand the difference between genders. And apart from those few kids who deliberately choose to embrace being different, most trans people would choose anything but - why would you choose to ostracise yourself from the majority of your peers? To make growing up as difficult as possible? But how do you live your life denying your very essence of being? Transgender people have existed in every culture for at least as long as humans have made records, so probably for as long as humans have existed. And there are multiple other species that can physically change gender as well, so it’s a natural thing.
