  1. If ever you hear cops/ambo’s/firies/healthcare workers etc laugh at something inappropriate, please don’t think the worst of them. That cop’s laugh sounded like a laugh of disbelief & first responders deal with so much trauma & physically & emotionally distressing stuff that we don’t react the same as people who are intimately involved with the victims. We have to maintain a psychological distance or it f’s us all up & we can’t do the job. It doesn’t mean we don’t care. Most of us care a great deal about victims & their families. There are always a few who would qualify as sociopaths/psychopaths. But the majority who laugh or make jokes or flippant comments, do it because if they didn’t we’d cry & never stop, because there are so many people that suffer so much in life & so many people who do such horrific things

  2. Wow. His dad looks after people’s lives with a life jacket program. His parents were so nice about the accident too, not even mad at him & their son is a sadistic psychopath. I get that his parents wanted to believe him & that it was innocent - the mind can do all kinds of things to try to convince of us what we want to believe. Poor Warren. Obviously very cared for by the friends he made in the town.
