  1. Whistleblowers need to go to the police first, before anyone with a vested interest in covering it up. And EVERYONE who deliberately ignored the Drs needs to be criminally charged with child endangerment, manslaughter or something appropriate. It is absolutely horrendous that management refused to bring in the police or independent investigators as soon as credible allegations were made.

  2. To help cool the interior of your house, cover sun facing windows with thick cardboard or if you can get them, car windscreen reflectors to help block heat from getting in. Sleep under a wet towel with a fan or open window helping with evaporative cooling. Freeze ice in resealable bags & wrap them in a damp flannel & use that to cool your skin. Get a fine misting spray bottle & spray yourself regularly to help cool down Drink plenty of cool water - not sugary drinks or alcohol or hot tea as they dehydrate you. Stay safe đź’• from Australia

  3. Sorry but if there was a God, why would they allow this kind of devastation & trauma to be inflicted in the first place? Faith seems to involve picking & choosing when you are grateful & ignoring the horrors that are inflicted on people & all living things every single day across the world

  4. If they only let 20 trucks in then that’s pretty much a guarantee that those resources will go to the people with power - Hamas. Not those innocent people who need & deserve it most. Starving a country because of a minority is wrong in every way. This cruelty from Israel & Egypt is against every principle of the religions they supposedly hold so dear

This horror, the poor innocents of Ukraine, victims of all brutal regimes across the world, victims of rapists, murderers, torturers, child abusers, terrorists & all the worst humans. There is just too much that is wrong & so little we can do to help but be kind, caring & decent to everyone we do encounter. We have no idea if the person we walk past in our streets or who we deal with on the phone has a relative murdered or hostage in Gaza, or living in constant fear in Ukraine, or North Korea, or in any other of the horrific circumstances currently around the world. We need to spread kindness, caring & compassion & stop the spread of hate, division, racism, bigotry & violence. And we need to put pressure on OUR leaders to do the right thing & help where they can with these horrific situations as well as our local atrocities, instead of getting caught up in attacking the other party & bickering like children. Like ripples on a pond, hopefully our small efforts will have a much bigger effect. The way people behaves affects each other more than we know. Think of how someone being an a$$ has ruined your mood for your entire day. Or how a stranger being kind has made you feel good. We need to start with little things & influence what we can.

  7. So heartbreaking for all people involved. The saves are incredible indeed, but the impact on people trapped in rubble for days will not leave them. And all these poor people whose homes, livelihoods & support systems have been destroyed … I just can’t imagine how traumatised they feel. Especially those who are having aid refused by the Syrian leader. Stupid things like civil war & evil men’s egos need to be put aside in the face of such overwhelming natural disasters. Why can’t humans just help each other?

  8. Easy way to destroy a country - give it the tools to let it destroy itself 🤷‍♀️ Happening in different ways in so many countries. Places like this - destructive drugs, spreading of disease & misinformation to take out a generation. Places like America - drugs & stoking of hate, racism, bigotry & division while encouraging guns more & more.

Instead we just carry on & react in shock when we get yet another record-breaking heat wave, or floods, or cyclones, tsunamis, snow storms & every other disaster Mother Nature can throw at us
