  1. Sorry but if there was a God, why would they allow this kind of devastation & trauma to be inflicted in the first place? Faith seems to involve picking & choosing when you are grateful & ignoring the horrors that are inflicted on people & all living things every single day across the world

  2. So heartbreaking for all people involved. The saves are incredible indeed, but the impact on people trapped in rubble for days will not leave them. And all these poor people whose homes, livelihoods & support systems have been destroyed … I just can’t imagine how traumatised they feel. Especially those who are having aid refused by the Syrian leader. Stupid things like civil war & evil men’s egos need to be put aside in the face of such overwhelming natural disasters. Why can’t humans just help each other?
