  1. All initial infections & resurgences in Australia have come from international travellers, so how can you say that stopping travel isn’t effective? We keep very clear statistics & contact tracing because of the relatively low number of cases, so it is very clear when infection clusters have started from international visitors/repatriation.

  2. The vaccination rates in the entire African continent & other nations with low rates should be the responsibility of the world. A rate of 24% when we’re up to 95.7% fully vaccinated in some parts of Australia is a prime example of inequality.

  4.  @sophiawilson8696  Dec 2019! So they didn’t hide it as much as people think. Other countries should have closed borders immediately but they didn’t because of the wealth China brings in. America was extremely slow to respond at every opportunity & look at what’s happened. They’re consistently number 1 in the world in cases & deaths
