Having watched the bodycam footage from both previous police visits - the cops were stuck between a rock & a hard place. There was NO evidence at all that he’d done anything to her & the children wanted to be with him & were 100% comfortable with him, but also had no fear of her. So there was NO reason for them to arrest him & he also denied anything physical until this call, so they couldn’t arrest her either. He didn’t want to leave the kids with her as she has unstable personality disorder & had made threats of self harm & had a previous history of the same so he was scared of what she might do to them. There was DEFINITELY nothing related to self-defence or battered spouse syndrome. She suffers from a personality disorder that makes her fear abandonment, so him wanting to take the kids to their grandparents for a few days triggered a huge fear of hers. And she has poor impulse control. But she knew right from wrong & was totally in the wrong & murdered him.
