If Pete H wants to save money at the Defense Department/Pentagon there are so many ways he can do it. Pete can immediately reduce the Military Presence at the Pentagon. If enlistment is down I am sure that there are plenty of NCOs and enlisted personnel that could be used at the Northern Border or Southern Border. Getting rid of non performing civilian employees, getting a list of employees like IRS and see if they want a buyout program. I am sure that there are multiple civilian employees that are doing the same job as one person.
