@floramay7007 Reactionaries aren't usually the ones to vote for socialist matriarchy. That's almost exclusively urbanites.

@justanotherhumanuser3145 Those are common economic distinction policy terms for welfare states, there's no policy, patriarchal welfare, and matriarchal welfare, patriarchal welfare operates on the premise of pushing members to not need it in time, matriarchal welfare is the classic safety net where it believes everyone must be provided for inherently, it does not encourage people to get off of it. These terms are based on the common behaviors of the mother and father, where mothers often will discourage their children from being independent and instead rely on them whereas father's often push and force the children to act and live independent of them. If you don't like the term, I didn't make it up, its already common use in the field. (and its been that way since the 1800s)

Honestly its this type of stupid urban behaviors/beliefs that explain why God will so often, after some warning, wash the heretical and heathen streets with their own blood and destroy cities to the last stone. It seems like it have made more sense to abandon Paris, destroy its industry, and move to a new southern capital where they wouldn't hate every single government because Parisians were either sycophants to stupid ideas or massive narcissists.
