Also the US cost of living on average is lower then anything in Canada or Europe, only in New York or California is it "high", even then those states are only the same as the average of Canada and Europe.

  2. @ Historically, Canadian identity is 95% "We are not the United States", such countries always collapse given time, the cultural identity of Canada is not all that much distinct from the US outside of most of the eastern provinces not revolting in 1776 (note New Brunswick and Nova Scotia tried but because the Continental Congress couldn't spare troops, the revolts were quickly put down, so kissing the ring isn't even a universal Canadian identity either) outside of Quebec. (which I suspect is one of the reasons Canada elevated Quebec to a position of being "more equal" then the other provinces) Regardless when you remove the propaganda the separation of American culture from Canadian culture excluding the law boils down to the same differences between New Jersey and North Dakota. Principally I'm saying while Canada does have a unique culture, its just as similar to the US as the US states are to each other, functionally making it more like a US state as far as culture is concerned, the Canadian institutions don't like this as it takes the power away from the institutions of the state so they try to indoctrinate Canadians to see themselves as "not American" because there is little else they have to identify more drastically distinct from the US.

  5. Brilliant move for the conservatives to, out of everyone to blame, start attacking Trump instead of the Liberals as soon as their lead fell away. How stupid do you have to be to treat Trump as the third party candidate in an election where the primary issue of your opposition is TDS?
