In my experience (and also from a few anecdotes of people who grew up with needing to know both systems) Fahrenheit measurements work way better for recording ranges of comfort because of the nature of human comfort to generally line up within each range of ten, as a result they are way more suitable for practical measuring by the average joe, if you don't think about the actual scientific use of Fahrenheit, all its problems straight up disappear. (what you use for things like cooking is actually fairly arbitrary though)

  2. Given KOR does things most people aren't willing to do, I think calling out for suggestions is completely fine, I mean what's wrong with asking fans to act as major contributors? Did not Mythbusters do the exact same thing VeNoM0619?

  3.  @softwarelivre2389  Nobody is saying it doesn't but the reduce calculative load by association of scales of ten is easier then the scale of ~5 with Celsius.

I wouldn't mind auto-automobiles, but we should ensure that everyone still understands how to drive, the rules of the road, and proper etiquette of the road even when the cars could take full control and responsibility. Aside from that, people should probably drive themselves at least a good bit and leave the autonomous side to long trips. But that's just me, and I think government regulation on this should be minimal or even none, as well as hold the company responsible for autonomous accidents cause by their software. Then again, this also felt a lot like an ad tbh.

The argument for getting rid of the nuclear weapons make little sense, its the same type of logic as banning firearms, it makes everyone who doesn't want to use them more vulnerable to those who are willing to use them, and that logic is absolutely proven true given historical record, every time a state has abandoned nuclear weapons, they have always been immediately invaded or turned into a puppet state, yet every state that has retained nuclear weapons keeps peace and stays independent enough. Even North Korea, hated as it is, is independent of both Russia and China despite being just as irrelevant internationally as Ukraine. Also throughout history, any time one side refused to use a weapon, their opponents would always come out victorious. There is no closing pandora's box.

The fact the government didn't enforce rights here (as the cartel fining people is generally an infringement of rights) is one of the problems here, another is that the government was intervening in the economy in regards to the electric companies of the 1910s and 1920s, which got worse in the 1930s, no longer requiring them to compete at all.

  8. Hasn't its non-relativistic version been the only type of Pilot Wave that's been disproven? iirc the debunking only accounted for the oldest versions of the theory, which kinda makes sense given its sparsely worked on and is fairly immature compared to the Copenhagen interpretation
