@captaincanada5139 "January 19, 2017: Sebastian Gorka, top Trump aide, appears on Fox News wearing Nazi gear" Literally false, the Order of Vitéz is a widely recognized Chivalric medal awarded to Hungarian chivalry, founded in the 1920s (and continues to be an active Chivalric knights Order in Hungary to this day) and has nothing to do with Nazism, every reference I can find relating it to Nazism only relates to Sebastien wearing it, and none of those references predate the articles Gorka wearing the medal. Not to mention the Order itself disassociated with the Nazis before the German collapse. Also Jews voluntarily joined the order after the Nazi coup in Hungary and its leader after Miklós Horthy was put in an concentration camp for refusing to fall in line with Nazi orders.

@captaincanada5139 The language has nothing to do with race, poisoning the blood of a country doesn't inherently refer to race. (unless you believe in only racial blood of countries, in which you'd be the racist for taking it that way)

@captaincanada5139 "2017-2020: Trump compares his crowd turnout to Hitler’s (twice)" First off he didn't say that, and that aside it wouldn't be wrong at all to compare a crowd size to Hitler's because it was publicly known that Hitler's crowds were some of the biggest in Europe at the time, doesn't make you a Nazi to know that. "June 18, 2020: Facebook takes down Trump ad featuring Nazi symbol" A downward facing red triangle isn't all that unique of a symbol.

@captaincanada5139 And how do you know they were SS? I know the image you're speaking of, but all I saw was Wehrmacht soldiers, SS never wore green nor brown serving as officers. (they also wouldn't appear in most reenactments because they were mostly security garrisons, not frontline infantry, [with the exception of foreign legions which weren't actual SS and couldn't wear the same uniforms] they only took part in a few battles most of which were German defensive battles) You wouldn't even able to tell the difference between WWI and WWII German soldiers because the uniforms would look the same. Now that aside, why should I presume a random photo of WWII reenactment wasn't simply a background stock image of soldiers that was looked up by an intern? Why is the first presumption you have to make is "he loves Nazis" because of a random stock image of soldiers happens to have German uniforms? You think Trump knows the difference between American and German GIs in WWII? You wouldn't even be able to notice the difference if it weren't for someone else pointing it out, most NA education doesn't give you any ability to distinguish soldier uniforms of WWII.

@captaincanada5139 Horthy's reign and the order predates Nazi Germany. And Hungary didn't enter the war for much other reason then to oppose the Soviets and take their old lands back, by the end period of the war Hungary was a puppet government, throughout most of the war those things did not apply. Horthy's association with Germany was a pragmatic concern, not a principled one, and before the war even ended Horthy was deposed from the order and it accepted Jews into its ranks.

@captaincanada5139 The way you argue by presuming the worst of your opposition without cause or reason will ensure nobody listens to you.

Democracy always leads to tyranny and communism or socialism, from Aristotle to Hans-Herman Hoppe, even Marx, Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler (course they made it seem like socialism was a good thing because they were the tyrants) explicitly said such, this has been a known fact by every political philosopher who actually examined the root of democracy. Aristotle predicted 1984 in 300 BC. (in fact he goes into more detail about the exact specific policies a tyrant implements and how they think)

I'm surprised how many people would forget she tried to kill a proven innocent man and suppressed the evidence he was innocent all to save face and the only reason he's was not killed was because she only just barely failed. He nearly died.

Hans-Herman Hoppes explains it in Democracy: The God That Failed.

@captaincanada5139 "Trump’s ex-wife Ivana claimed in 1990 that he kept a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, in his bedside cabinet." Trump admits to having the book, but he doesn't admit to having it by his bedside, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and the Vanity interview took that claim from her lawyer who was arguing for her divorce. Regardless I really couldn't care less about simply having a book of speeches, if that made him a Nazi, then every historian and 85% of world leaders are one, Mein Kampf is still a very widely sold book, doesn't make those who buy it a Nazi.

@captaincanada5139 If you refuse to admit that Hitler could've done anything good then you're irrational and a fool, was the expansion of the Autobahn bad? Was the Volkswagen bad? (personally I disagree with both, but I can't say they were bad by any objective metric) Like even Satan accomplished good works for the sake of God, even when he did not wish to, it is necessary to recognize that even evil can do good things, else you'll never even be able to recognize the evil within one's self, that's a cult brainwashing tactic, you're otherwise indistinguishable from the evil you complain about. Only through honest and genuine examination of history can we oppose the wickedness of the past. And that's before I take into account things used for bad that were good, like the development of the MG-42 which became the basis for almost every LMG since.

@captaincanada5139 Plenty of innocuous things are "Hitler quotes" because translations can be twisted to all sorts of shapes, being wrong and evil in speech is context dependent, (and plenty of things that Hitler said devoid of their context when he said them is not inherently evil) you are required to prove that Trump shared ideology with Nazis, mere "dogwhistles" are completely irrelevant because they aren't evidence of intent nor outlook, they are mere claims. You don't even try to presume good faith of the opposition, that anyone you disagree with could have made mistakes, everyone has to be entirely intending to do things that in your own opinion look bad. Not that you can even prove your opinion, you see these paranoid dogwhistles and it sends you into a schizophrenic rage.

Its almost like someone in the SS and PD was in on it, almost like it was a deliberate to stop Trump.
