Just gonna say that my dad has never played the games, doesn't give a damn and only knows much about the games from me, he was able to tolerate episode 1 with questions and annoyances, he's already saying he's likely to drop it at episode 2, he really doesn't like it. My dad was literally the audience in a lot of ways even in hating any even slightly woke messages, he has such low standards that he doesn't even care anymore and they made him start to hate it. As an aside everything I've heard, seen, or learned about it has only made me hate it more.

  12. I find it funny how they want to complain about censorship now but didn't speak up much at all when they actually (and still do) censor regular speech on their text chat. (not to mention how erroneous their bans on TKing are that it might as well not even be part of the game) Also tbh, we really should stop pandering to the Chinese government, the people are submissive enough as it is, giving them more distractions just makes them easier to control. We could seriously weaken China's government if we embargo'ed their existence but no, it costs us too much money despite the fact we embargo plenty of other places, fuck it, if interventionism applies to some places but not others then its pretty clear how bullshit the system is.

  18. I wouldn't say its a foundation for culture, language is a product of culture, but by that degree rejection of this by natives demonstrates that they recognize the truth in their culture, that being that this type of thinking is actual mental illness worthy of sectioning.

  19.  @Brojeejaksonflaxinwaxin  Language is downstream from culture, a language is spawned by a culture first, the ideas of the language are devised by the cultural needs, languages are a result of culture, not a cause of it. You can't find an example of a language that is not a byproduct of the culture that language resides in. For example the Afrkianer language was a byproduct of the issues that produced the culture necessary for its development, it did not appear and produce a culture, the culture was developed by environmental means and the language developed around it, this is how all languages work. Even English demonstrates this fact.

  20. I don't trust the Roblox Corporation anymore then I trust the Discord Health and Safety team, and my account has already been deleted from discord once. There needs to be a FOSS alternative that doesn't suck, wish they'd also stop using web technologies for their desktop clients at least.
