May the Lord's grace bless the soul of Luty, for he has done what few Americans and no other Brit had ever the bravery to do.

Development in any field really does require someone to designate a cutoff point for ideas and features, save em for the next version, and in a case that the update would actually be able to work without blowing up.

@flat-earther Why was that your response?

Its quite bullcrap that the US demanded the disarmament of Japan regardless of how awful they've been, even worse is it only further authorized the hyper-Hoplophobia that the Japanese, and in particular their politicians and bureaucrats, had, which is actually a huge contributor to why Japan as country was overly-imperialist, and it seems with the recent assassination of a former political figure in Japan with an electric pipegun, that's only demonstrating once again, as keeps happening, why civilians owning weapons is superior to letting the government claim to protect you. Its pretty hard to commit to gunning someone down when you're gonna be surrounded by armed combatants who will take you down, perhaps before you even get a shot off.

While musket may possibly be correct enough, this be more accurate to call a Gauss Cannon (or a Small-Arms/Shoulder-Fired Gauss Cannon) as cannons don't traditionally use rifling and it has no bearing on whether it does have rifling or not.
