@danielknapp3141 According to Torah it shouldn't, there are many true Torah Jews that despise it as a country because God according to Torah didn't give them any of the required signs to return nor has the state done any of the ritual requirements to acknowledge a promised return. They also are not nor ever were a chosen people (they were beloved only because they were preserved as people of Abraham by promise, but Scripture makes it clear that Abraham's offspring is not by blood, Rahab and Ruth weren't his offspring, only Abraham's children may inherit the land, thus Christians) and they have no right to the land for they are not followers of the faith. Only followers to the priesthood of Melchizedek have any right, which the Levites are below and are not part of. Not that they even know who the Levites are anymore, they're just Moabites now according to Torah, another reason they have no right to the land.

@danielknapp3141 "The re-establishment of israel today is literally the fulfillment of quite a few old testament prophesies." That's not true, those interpretations are less then 150 years old. There is no Apostolic Father that affirms that nor any church father, and it was not found before the 1800s when the dispensational heresy was proliferated by Scofield and John Nelson Darby.

@danielknapp3141 Also no living Jews have any ancestral inheritance to Abraham because the Temple that recorded these claims was destroyed in 70AD and all records of ancestral ties were lost.

Both of these were fulfilled centuries before Jesus, the Valley of Dry Bones was fulfilled with David, and the Babylon Captivity only lasted 70 years and ended during the reign of Cyrus under direction of Ezra. Neither of these are applicable to anything following 300 BC, let alone anything after the coming of Jesus.

@danielknapp3141 It starts in Deuteronomy 30, so first they must follow and establish Torah, which they don't do, a nation that is not religious is not even capable of fulling the first requirement, mere ritual alone still violates the Commandments. Their hearts aren't circumcised, they don't follow the Torah statues and commandments, they also routinely choose against life in violation of that chapter. (they still practice abortion which is an explicit violation of Deuteronomy 30) These aren't even the signs, these are expectations before the signs may be given, they can't even fulfill that, nor do they believe in God alone violating the first Commandment. So how can they claim to be such a nation. They can't even demonstrate their ancestral inheritance that they claim, even the Jews in Babylon knew they were Hebrews and of the tribe they were from. The Son of David can't come without that and those records were destroyed in 70AD, they literally are incapable of validating any Messiah claim. Without the genealogy records, they have no right to call themselves Hebrews or Jews.

@danielknapp3141 The first signs of a return to the promised land is a Prophet raised up to speak Scripture. His words will be written as God's Word in the Tanakh. All returns were preceded by a Prophet who spoke the Word of God. If there is no Prophet, there is no nation. Next would come the signs for the restoration of the Temple and the walls of Jerusalem. This would also require all the necessities that also must be made for the Temple to be rebuilt and sanctified. (which follow from the Tabernacle) The nation cannot exist before this has come. With the Temple being reconstructed they must also restore the legal portions of the Torah. These are only a portion of the signs for the restoration of the Hebrews.
