We (Albertans) would love nothing more than to export our product to foreign markets through our own ports; however, our pipelines to OUR coasts are being blocked by anti-pipeliners. Ironically, they are being funded by American special interest groups so that the oil remains landlocked in Alberta, serving their own purpose of forcing us to continue selling to our only available customer... the US. And yes, you do seem to need our oil as you import more oil from us than anyone else... including the OPEC'ers!
