  62. it late i need sleep, but im going to write this comment or so god help me the inuit (likely not all, idk) ate a diet of just meat, Vilhjalmur Stefansson wrote his book the fat of the land on this and i havent read the books but i have read up on it and on vilhjalms travels in the arctic, the inuit of the time are often described to be healthy and fit (sadly not true today because of the drastic shift to modern foods so far north) so they would get their vitamins and such by also eating the organs because thats where it was all stored they also ate plenty of fish but im not sure how much of their diet that consisted of, certainly seal would have been big, i dont know when they started hunting whales the viking age scandinavians however as far as i know from my research which i dont remember any of my sources for except for a short paper about diet differences between rural and populated places in denmark you know what, i have just spent 20 minutes tying to find that paper, this is taking to long, i need sleep, maybe tomorrow i will come back and to a follow up where i finish, goodnight
