not quite becuase its hotly debated pretty much everyone will agree on cuba, and then from there every faction has their own list, the marxist leninists claim their 5, cuba, china, laos, north korea and vietnam bolivia could and probably is by "democratic socialists" (socialism without democracy is an oxymoron because socialism is democracy in the economy) even though bolivia isnt really socialist since they still have a considerable private sector, they are certainly moving in the direction, especially now that they are back on track but yea, nuance on the matter

if the rich are not paying the government, but the government is spending as much, that means the money is coming from your pockets

water is good for humans, we can still drown that beaks your entire argument

private healthcare in denmark for example IS cheaper than the US private healthcare

either way thats not the claim she is using

@jacobcook368 i dont care which one of the two of us is paying less, i care about the people the US spends 18% of their GDP on healthcare as it the only country that comes close is canada at 12% nations like germany and japan are at 9% i live in denmark, we use 8% of our GDP on healthcare yet out GDP per person is less than yours, so amount of population is not an issue here, you should be ahead in that regard so as individuals danes spend less than half as much on healthcare per person any way you frame it, you are going to save money as a people
1
@jacobcook368 the reason you have so many health issues is because neither corporations nor the government is incentivized to keep you healthy, if the government fronts the bill they will look for cheap ways that make the country healthy because that cuts down on costs give me the reason you honestly believe is why americans have more health issues
1
@jacobcook368 even more reason to nationalize healthcare if having private healthcare has lead you to be the nation with the most health issues that is not an argument to keep the current system
1
@jacobcook368 is it? i mean in the long run? maybe for the next 20 years its cheaper, but if you think about the benefit of decreasing health issues makes it a great investment into the future would you rather reap now than build a better world?
