drop in the water compared to human industry
4
it is gaining ice, yet at a diminishing rate, the losses however are recorded to be growing its not balancing out because these gains are not new, Antarctica had been gaining ice for hundreds if not thousands of years but the stations we put there have recorded these gains steadily going down

"these cycles" cycles say we should be cooling not warming we have warmed the planet a whole degree in just 100 years point to the last time that happened on earth, no not the medieval warm period that was regional and global temperatures where stable no not leaving the ice age that took thousands of years maybe sometime before humans? lets see, there are some extinction events that sort if line up, ah yes, that settles it, if the last time this happened thousands if not millions of species went extinct that means we will be fine

i wish
1
actually karl marx had a better answer than the bible did
1
@marleyboy9864 then we just stop using coal
1
so are you saying scientists should be banned from public funding and instead all scientists should have a secured state funding which by law cant be taken away no matter the result? sure, im fine with that, actually in europe at least in my country the some scientist do get that, where they have secured funding, yet.... their results still line up with other scientists....
1
yes, because we all know that an entire continent couldnt possibly have temperature differentials
1
thats because you read news headlines not science reports show us the science reports from 40 years ago that said we have 10 years you are not immune to propaganda, you have been made to believe that science made these claims
1
Towelie maybe it is normal where you live, i dont know you
1
Towelie we can trust scientists for the most part and currently for the most part its is clear that human activities need to be regulated
1
Towelie switch over to renewable energy and nuclear instead of carbon emission based energy production also to minimize waste production especially not recyclable waste
1
Towelie chernobyl was ENTIRELY preventable, it was cause by sheer stubbornness of those in charge and lack of regard please read up on it
1
Towelie "Can be when it geta out of control" they where in control, they just didnt do anything because they where too stuck up and stubborn, if they had followed simple procedure the whole thing could have been avoided
1
Towelie america has been the larges nuclear power producer for the longest time, they have never had a nuclear problem the only cases where it has gone wrong is in the ussr where it was completely preventable and then in japan where it was built in a place in risk of tsunamis
1
Towelie you wont be wearing shorts by january, global warming is a media conspiracy climate change is real, backed by science and data shows human activity is the main driver of current changes
1
wasnt it a forest because of plate tectonics, not temperature difference?
1
@Hugo-lm7ed Milankovitch cycles happen to frequently for that to be what caused Antarctica to be tropical, if that where the case then within the 100 million years that has passed since Pangaea we would have seen Antarctica switching between glacial and tropical many times
1
they are scientists so obviously they are talking about C
1
@earldecker7760 they can see that the ice retreat it, why would that need to be fudged
1
@earldecker7760 sorry, i dont buy that thousands of scientists can independently get to the same results And even if you believe all the world governments somehow got together and agreed to cooperate to convince the masses (a job that compared to the amount of authority involvement is going really badly) its still not proof that there would be no consequences to terrafroming our own atmosphere many againts climate activism say "well its so complex that you cant make these batshit doomsday predictions" to which i say, yes, sure, absolutely, its really complicated, which is why we should not just change atmospheric variables and hope for the best
1
@earldecker7760 you believe in the facts? what fact proves that we would experience to adverse effect from terraforming out atmosphere
1
@earldecker7760 " The climate on earth is not static" lmao, when did i ever say or suggest that?
1
@earldecker7760 "always changes due to the natural climate change variables" no, it always changes due to the change of variables, such as sun activity, carbon levels, volcanic activity, o2 concentrations, orbit and other things im sure and you know what, we changed carbon levels
1
@earldecker7760 "The fact & evidences are found in the geological history time scales of the earth verifying that there have been several ice-ages followed by inter-glacial periods" yes, those where caused by changes in variables, have i ever claimed that it was humans that changed those variables?
1
@earldecker7760 no dunce can understand the whole universe, but a super dunce like you can believe he can
1
@earldecker7760 you seem to come up with original stuff, like the claim that climate activist believe that only humans can change the climate and nothing else can
1
the summers before where colder
1
water is a helpful agent in growing humans tell me, can you drown?
1
0:50
1
can you show which actual scientists made these claims you are bringing up didnt happen? you are not immune to propaganda, you cant pin scientists for the lies told by the media
1
"All happened before and will all happen again" so when before did earth warm up a whole degree in just 100 years?
1
" NASA is actually at its highest level of sea ice extent ever." why do you think the water around antarctica is colder and less salty? its not like thats where all the cold freshly melted water is ending up
1
warmer oceans mean they expand, higher sea levels mean we loose the flat fertile plains where billions of people live and where so much of our food is from
1
from both sides, and even still, climate change is real
1
the climate has been observed to change
1
the whole things? what do you mean?
1
natural cycles point to that we should be cooling not warming, even though the cycles are pointing the other way we are still warming faster than we ever have during our time here as a species
