Will these same students look to their state representatives' actions back in 2020 (ie taking a collective knee for a photo op in the marble hall of Congress following Floyd's death) as they dawned Ashanti pattern garb? The Ashanti and other west African tribes enslaved 15-20 million fellow Africans of nearby villages between 1500-1890 and traded them as a commodity.
