I wouldn't wait around for the Police to solve this (didn't they just have a closed-door meeting with the City about this problem?! IMO that's to control the optics on a situation they cannot solve) It's time to come together as a community, vigils are a way to recharge emotionally but I'm talking about using your energy to facilitate outreach/intervention with criminals.
