  1. In Serbia we have a saying: to be an enemy of the west is very dangerous, but to be a friend ..is fatal. Though I appreciate our repelling of woke ideology and a lean towards Putin (ie slavic unity; blood being thicker than water), it's very sad seeing the corruption that exists in Serbia today: Federal employees are strongly encouraged to attend political rallies, and bring a certain number of friends/neighbors, thousands of clueless people on the street are paid with sandwiches/cash to attend as well, and businesses have their leases revoked if they publicly stand against the president. Our leaders lack accountability and are people are tired and demoralized, EU would love to step in and stir the pot.

  2. Agreed, look at Croatia and how they no longer have their currency In my view, and this is only my opinion, Serbia has always tried to buy time with the west (pretending they're interested in the EU) and waiting for the BRICS alternative to involve itself in protecting their sovereignty
