I'd gladly take something a bit worse but with little noticeable censorship. GPT-4 is... good enough, I guess. But more would be too much.

It's a great tool, but as for everything, state-of-the-art AIs these days are only sometimes enough to do the task for you entirely, and mostly, they're mostly like an assistant, they do quite a bit of the dirty work for you, but you are the brain, and you have to understand your shit or else it will go off the rails. That being said it could change very fast.

  15.  @lfc8082  tbh on the surface it looked to be a great summer, reguilón was the good signing that he appeared to be, doherty so far hasn't shown anything really even though it looked like a sensible purchase, rodon can still improve but he just hasn't played much, and... well, bale was mostly unfit, which is by far the biggest disappointment I think they actually did pretty well, it's just that it wasn't enough.

  18.  @gorkyd7912  you have to keep finding clever workarounds to get what you want. There's tools for that, such as inpainting, which is essentially asking the AI to redraw part of the image. More advanced tools are there (like ControlNet) and will yet be coming. But yeah, generating AI images is currently retrying a lot with slightly different parameters, and sometimes it just doesn't do what you want for whatever reason. Which I guess is good, since it remains a tool for you and doesn't just entirely do everything for you (although it is a deeply confusing tool lol)

I guess he's pretty old now and injury prone too and since you bought Pope he's pretty much a backup anyway, and you already have Darlow who is also a respectable backup, so I can see why it makes sense from a dressing room dynamics point of view, since you have 3 goalkeepers who are good enough to be in the squad and it'd be doing any of them hard to make them 3rd choice.

I can think of 3 or 4 situations in the world cup where I really think there should've been a different decision (Mitrovic getting tackled by 2 Swiss players in the box and no penalty, and Boateng not getting sent off for fouling Berg against Sweden come to mind especially, maybe others in the final where I thought both the free kick and the penalty for France were contentious), but other than that it worked exceptionally well.

There's already fully or at least mostly uncensored AI text generators, but nothing on the level of ChatGPT, or even close to it, and most alternatives which appear (e.g. Claude AI) seem to be equally as bad when it comes to restrictiveness, if not worse. I guess we just have to wait more, and keep an eye out for interesting stuff

I don't think he's good enough yet, he might well be at some stage). And yeah, definitely would take it if i was Everton, I'm worried for where the goals will come from for them, unless DCL comes back to his best (not to mention gets fit again).   38.  @michaelgriffin7640  He did get them promoted, but they're both teams expected to be promoted, and he didn't do it comfortably either, only winning the playoffs at both while you could argue on the basis of squad strength that both should have gained automatic promotion, with Premier League players still in there and a lot of money compared to others, so while it's an achievement, it's not that impressive, he did not punch above his weight anywhere. I don't blame him for Fulham getting relegated tbh, they waited until like deadline day to get 2 first choice centerbacks, and he did an okay job to try to stay up, and I won't blame him much for Bournemouth if they go down, either, clearly not backed enough, but I don't know what to really judge him from when it comes to manager skills. He looks like a good guy though.

  39. I see it more as a tool to use to generate content when you don't have the money to buy it, or talent (and time) to do it yourself. Whether you call it "art" or not is semantics, really, I've seen lots of people be disturbed by equating AI art to normal art. I personally don't see an issue with it. The process is vastly different, and right now, so is the outcome, but it is just a different way to do it. I don't think it should be discounted as just another novelty. It could be there to stay

  40. yeah, I agree. I'm not an artist myself, but artists are generally also reluctant to use AI as a tool because it takes the joy out of their creative process. That's the big caveat with AI imo. I think the potential benefits of creating art on the trot for free or basically nothing compared to what you'd have to pay to an actual artist are amazing for small developers who would otherwise not have the money to bring their project to fruition. I welcome that, because otherwise, my hobby project for game creation would never see the day of light - AI art was the last piece of the puzzle to make any of it possible. I'd still prefer to pay an actual artist for many reasons, but AI now is an alternative which doesn't suck and is actually decent. But yeah, what it will mean for our creativity and the way we see art is different gravy. AI will fundamentally change our world in general. Remains to be seen if for the better or for the worse overall. Seems like it will be both in some ways.

Like GPT-4 alone covers most of your needs and many apps just re-package it and offer you a service which you can already get from GPT-4. Do use it though, the 20 bucks is a bargain for how much it can do. Other than that, you only need anything else if you want to escape censorship

The issue is rather that it is still pretty far away from sounding good enough. I listen for the melody, not the story behind it. But I agree that AI art should be labeled as such at all times to avoid confusion/misinformation

  62.  @petrorlov2599  I wouldn't say so, they seem pretty much equal to me. And AI Dungeon has better pricing with a free plan. It's pretty good if you're willing to take some time to edit stuff out and re-generate. That being said, I'd gladly move if there was an unfiltered ChatGPT-like AI somewhere. It's coming eventually. There's already stuff like Starbyte AI Anyone and Subspace, but it's early stages yet. Still, they're both GPT-like, and certainly feel like they're not far off from being immersive without any kind of editing/refreshing. Certainly keeping my eye for it. For someone used to AIs like Cleverbot, AI Dungeon tier of stuff has already been a massive step up and I still love it, but it's clear we can do even better now

I live in Belgium and I'm about the same as you. ~23 or so is the best temperature, above that it is too hot, and I generally never see the need for winter coats (in Belgium temperature barely even gets into the negatives at winter, it's really mild, and summers are also mild)

Just regulate it and don't do it like America does by letting companies have too much power. I don't deny capitalism is indeed a shitshow, and don't think anyone can, but it had proven advantages, which other systems (such as the most mentioned one, communism) don't.

Sometimes, it will just give you the right answer, but you shouldn't expect it to, instead, use it to nudge you in the right direction. Or, if you already want to know more or less what you want to implement and how, it often does it well enough. But it is certainly not going to replace your thinking process. Sadly.
