I used google maps side by side comparison to see how much the place is changed started with Hollywood High School the trees are the same for the most part but everything else is changed

it is interesting how they put the street lamp on a wire in the middle of the intersections, since they don't do that anymore I guess it wasn't a good idea

actually this might be after the war, because the very beginning of the video you see a ARMY NAVY store and WAR BONDs sign on a building, ARMY NAVY stores sprung up after the WAR because they had so much surplus army/navy clothes since the war was over

you can tell by all the newly staked trees that the place was built recently. I remember playing LA NOIRE and they had huge areas of nothing but new houses under construction, the game was based on Post WW2 LA
