  1. is anyone trying to plant new groves? like buying property that has similar characteristics as their remaining areas? all you see is the very old growth trees, we need to ensure that new ones are planted now so future generations can enjoy them in case something happens to the older ones

  2. looks like the giant sequoia I am growing but a lot of conifers look similar you can say it is a eastern Red Cedar also of you just go by the scaled needles the only true way to find out is wait for its cones to develop or do expensive DNA test

  3. you want a sugar pine cone if you are a size queen, they have cones 24 inches long or 60 cm long
