anyone think that with everyone using ac these days that is is heating up the atmosphere? it blows hot air outside

it wasnt that long ago my family never had AC up until about the 1980's in Maryland, the hard part was nights in the summer when it was really humid out and no breeze at all but it was survivable

my work is always too cold in the summer I have a small heater to blow hot air on me other wise I start shivering at work or I have to take an extended break outside just to warm up. and if you complain they go from one extreme to the other from super cold or too hot to work

While air conditioning was certainly becoming more common in the 1980s, it didn't quite become "normal" for most homes until the 1990s and beyond. While some homes, especially in warmer regions, had central air or multiple window units by the 1980s, many relied on only a few window units, often just in the master bedroom, as you recall. By the 1990s, technological advancements, rising incomes, and changes in housing design led to a greater adoption of central air conditioning and more widespread use of air conditioning in general WHY DO YOU SHOW SOMEONE from the 1600's like it was over 400 years ago
