  4.  @darthmaul216  redwoods have grown in California for 20 million years we have been though multiple global warming events and ice ages since then, Humans are the prime cause of Destruction of the forests and most animal species. just from destroying habitats, humans used to live from nature now they destroy it

  24. they cant survives maines winters in their native range it rarely gets below freezing, they dont have antifreeze like many conifers. so the cells burst in cold weather and cant transfer water anymore.

  25. the problem with redwoods is they can only grow in a narrow temperature range they cant survive below freezing for extended periods and high heat hurts them too they need abundant water source and fog drip not very many places like that that arent already populated like the UK
