  5. there is also a lot if dis information on youtube about auto shops saying you should change your oil every 3000 miles even when the manufacturer states with their Oil you should do oil changes every 10000 miles like new MAZDAS. the Shop wants more oil changes because they get more money and the shops are saying the manufacturer wants you to destroy your car so you have to buy a new one. you know what you can do is CHECK YOUR OIL LEVEL at least every other time you fill up your tank, if it looks low you can either add a quart or if its low and dirty go get it changed that probably applies to a person in a dusty climate like a desert.
