  3. if the thing is bobbing on the surface shouldnt it be detectable? I mean should have some communication ability in case they do surface miles away from the mother ship during normal operations, also if its stuck on the the bottom it either lost all power imploded, the noise they heard could have been the sub falling into the interior of the titanic
