  1. I worked in that field in teh Navy and sure we may have seen (heard) the explosion but it is not the frequencies we look for the ocean makes many random noises and only later can you go back and say oh thats what that was, we dont report every sound

  3. well it did explode like a super nova it collapses then the enrgy of the implosion causes a small explosion but all happens very fast
