  1. In Germany, honey at the supermarket pretty much is as expensive as it is at the beekeeper's shops, with just a few cheaper exceptions that usually are the supermarkets' own brands. So either the quality of that stuff is actually good or you'd simply have no reason at all not to buy from the beekeeper instead.
