Same in Germany... where I live half of the main street's shops are empty and there's basically two almost completely abandoned malls for over a decade (though that is due to them building a new one when the old isn't good enough and we're at the third right now that isn't any better either, the others bought by investors, probably to keep them empty)... haven't been out much since "the royna", but I can only guess it got even worse. In my vicinity like 80% of the hair cutters are just gone as well thanks to the pandemic.

In "the west", this happens because of complete utter greed (= not worth for the company to run a certain subsidiary if it doesn't exceed some statistically set ROI, i other words they do still generate profit, but not enough) instead of getting banned or getting pulled out.

Just look at the video closely... - drone flies behind the flag pole - explosion clearly happens in front of the flag pole, watch the lighting even brightening up the Kremlin wall and the Senate Tower! (yet the burning debris seemingly seems to bounce off the dome) - flag is still there after the kaboom - 2 guys are climbing the roof while all of this happens and they don't even duck and cover - they got it on cam, perfectly - thing doesn't even hit the roof - who's be sleeping in the dome? - how could it even get there with all the security going on that you'd expect? It is more than fishy, it's straight out obvious that it's staged.

Just for comparison, they had ~250 2S6 Tunguskas in 2018, which basically is the predecessor unit. That's not really that much, especially since they probably need a good amount of those to cover their attacks in Ukraine. Anyway, they'd use a whole mesh of IADS consisting of several systems to protect their bases and typically, if the crews don't suck they should be able to see potential attacks early enough. Either that doesnt't work out, or as I said already, probably false flag. They want the people to get the impression of being under attack so they'll support the gov't's intentions to sent more troops and material to Ukraine.
