  1. The real reason why American trucks aren't cabovers is the balls of the driver have to go somewhere, so they had to move the whole engine compartment somewhere else. Meanwhile, trucking in the EU literally is slavery where one giant company in the wealthier countries is employing the cheapest workforce they can get through sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub companies, mostly from Eastern Europe or even non-EU countries, while totally crapping on all the laws, rules and regulations as much as possible while paying ultra low wages that still seem stellar in the countries where those drivers come from. Also, those people have to work hard outside of the actual trucking, they aren't just drivers...

  2. Trucks in the EU literally must have limiters installed that prevent them from accelerating past 90km/h. In most countries you're even just allowed to go 80.
