In other words: Even Equestria, where it's all about friendship, love and tolerance, has an army. And I'm glad to live in Germany within a united EU (even with the Bri'ish out now, they're still friends) - which, one can't deny, is a consequence of 2 world wars. Too many people lost their lives in those, but it was literally a global, world wide effort to get us where we are now on this contient, and the US did contribute a lot to that (the USSR as well, just to have it mentioned - and in the end it was Germany striving to reunite that also played a big role in ending the Cold War as well as the US and USSR/Russia). And that was only possible thanks to lots individuals signing that blank check to serve their countries.
