I'd probably be completely blind if we didn't have that system at all because I couldn't have afforded the surgeries I had (probably worth around ~20-25k accumulated, just checked some numbers on the internet, but couldn't get any for the latest which is literally brand new)... some things still could be better, but I'm glad about what we have. For instance I have an "annual" that's 120€ everytime which is not covered by the insurance, but inherently important. When you're literally lacking income because of your issues, that's a lot to bear already... but again, could be worse.

  6. First off, get well soon, Lester! Sad story, but well, that's life. Glad you've got an option to proceed in October apparently, and I'm definately looking forward to see you and Lester flying together some more eventually. Hope they allow you to take footage of your owas there as well so we can watch those. Wouldn't mind having to wait for that until you've already done the thing and went back home. Just record the stuff, don't lose it (backups FTW) and do the work afterwards. Definately the right decision by gut not to fly with that "DJ".
