I'd say noone plays this por realism, but TBH I miss the days when the simpler sims were rather realistic still, like the good old Janes Fighters series or Dynamix' Aces series. Those had the right balance between realism and playability IMHO. Simplified, but not exceeding realism with utterly high speeds, 30g turns, tons of weapons and such. The music is great though.
