Fun fact: I can only barely read (or rather: decypher, it still takes me a while) Cyrillic since I kinda had to learn it because of Russian cockpits in DCS and the fact that I didn't want to install "unrealistic" English cockpit mods... in many cases that is already enough to understand what a thing does as a lot of technical terms were just taken straight from either English or German. If they really have to, I guess they'll learn it the other way round a lot quicker than me. And in the end it comes down to routine and knowing what to do in which situations, you often just do it "visually", but not actually reading anymore at some point. Nevertheless, this is an additional step that has to be taken.
