@hajimesaito6207 The VS-300 flew first in 39, the FockeWWulf Fw-61 did so in 36, and the first auto in 37. Both were just prototypes. Both the Flettner Fl-282 and the Focke-Achgelis Fa-223 first flew in October 41, about 3 months before the Sikorsky R-4 took it's maiden flight in January 42. All those were the first to be produced in series and enter service, even though there weren't that many (20+ in case of both German ones each and 131 R-4s). Those events are so close to each other that it's hard to say which one really was the first invented, especially since they've been basing off of autogyros and the knowledge about rotors gained from those (at least in case of the Fw/Fa ones). BTW just for the record, even though it's not helos: The German warbirds required right rudder on takeoff, just like American planes as well. The British and Russian ones typically were the left rudder ones.
