  3.  @CapStar362  Xou are not wrong. The Hornet does have a G limit that can be overridden to some extent with the paddle switch. But the "AoA limiter" in this game literally seems to limit the AoA you'd have when pulling Gs, so the AoA doesn't limit you in that :D

  4. It is so inherently unrealistic that even a Fokker Dr.I would just leave the chat. I wish he'd ruin some old classics like Air Power and Crimson Skies. Those are kinda arcade, but with a nice alternate timeline that has some cool airship carriers and interesting airframes in the late 20s and early 30s era, and the planes don't even remotely feel as arcade as they do in Project Wingman, Ace Combat and alike.

  7. Even Wags sais it's a game, so... Probably the most realistic one out there, literally as real as it gets, but yeah, it's still a game. But at the same time there's nothing wrong calling it a simulator.

I remember Il-2 (the old one) not getting the TBF/TBM Avengers and some other stuff because 1c didn't pay license fees for some ships that were originating from shipyards that are now (and were back then, 2004) part of Northrop Grumman. They had the WILDCATS and HELLCATS in there though. Anyway, that was one of the biggest let downs in the history of that series.

  11. +20% I think it's an utterly great VR flying experience and at least halfway realistic. Not to mention it's basically a One Man Show, no big team behind it, just a single dude. The controls work great and it's fun having an opportunity to enjoy having some good stick time without having to mount all the flight controls prior.

XD 11:00 Looks like they did this: F-4E -> F/E-4 F-15C -> F/C-15 F-16C -> F/C-16 F(/A)-18E -> F/E-18 So the Strike Eagle would be F/E-15 :D 11:39 Maybe you should try some VR stuff like Half-Life: Alyx (you got that with your Index anyway), especially games with decent gun play (HL:A, Boneworks, H3VR come to mind), those are not the casual "just hit the Green Button" thing.
