And to be fair, I guess you're right with saying there won't be any combat in MSFS. They simply let other do the combat stuff and that's probably for the better,

  4. Well, DCS requires quite some oomph as well... I upgraded from a 3070 to a 4080S because of that (using VR here with the Q3). Best bang for the buck card currently is the 4070Ti Super BTW. Should be good enough for either sim. I've watched someone's stream of the 2024 with such a card on a 5700x + 32GB RAM system and he had everything cranked to Ultra @4k and it ran like dog$#!+ until he finally tried the DLSS and Frame Generation options. Was pure 🧈🧈🧈 from then on and he claimed he couldn't tell a difference visually except for the smoothness. Noteworthy, Frame Generation requires you to have HAGS on (and a 40 series card, doesn't matter which) and I've heard it would work well with Win 11, but I know lots of people having issues with it on Win 10. Going to try on 10 myself soon(tm).

They have like a tenth of the data amount of what Google has. ANd it totally is older. PS: I just can't wait for the official FFB implementation that's on the roadmap. I hope the Moza telemetry thing just works somehow in the meantime. Not having FFB was one of the main reasons why I didn't fly the 20 that much.

  7.  @baomao7243  Probably the sanest way to handle it. You might even see a discount in half a year already. I bought 2020 with 20% off 8 months after release with a Game Pass Ultimate that was a single buck after having paid at total of less than 5 bucks to have access to the Standard Edition for 5 or 6 months. Keep an eye on those offers, also just check it with the 14 day offer they have for a single buck.

  9. NGL I saw the steam ratings down to 14% positive at some point during launch day. It's way up already, but I fear lots of people will never come back to adjust their review there just because of the - let's be fair - usual launch issues that basically every game that somehow relies on online services has these days.
