Every granny in the most remote and rural area and their dog probably have heard or read those 4 particular letters at least once in their life." 15:59 I've heard rumors that it's actually TSMC's plan to basically self-destruct in case of being conquered by Red China, so they won't get that vital resource of semiconductor fabs and gain from controlling them. Having fabs outside of Taiwan would be part of that plan to secure the tech and prevent them from actually just vanishing completely.
