  1. The recession in Europe was horrible. I just completed dual vocational education and training in 2009 and was applying for jobs basically anywhere, didn't get a single interview until late 2011 after almost a thousand of applications. And even then it didn't get better for me as I was out of job for too long, followed by a series of health issues. I could say that that recession destroyed my life in conjunction with my health problems... my brother couldn't get a job either during 2009-2012 with a diploma... at least we do have a fairly decent social net here, but especially now with the prices going up it's getting harder and harder.
