@handson4580 True. Also, it auto-serves the highest quality. I'd get 4k stuff on my 1920x1200 display as well as on 720p mobile displays regardless if I wouldn't run Firefox with the YouTube HD addon forcing the darn thing to 1080p or 720p respectively. Yes, the encoding might be better, but I really can't see a difference except for the fact that at 4k, it's A LOT more laggier when scrolling though the timebar with J/L and the cursor keys, making it completely unenjoyable which isn't an issue at 1080p or less at all. That automatically overserving COSTS THEM MONEY, with no advantage to the users. And how many % of the audience do use Firefox and have YTDH installed even in that? 0.000000001% maybe? Google is literally screwing themselves over with that $#!+, but they're blaming the 0.000001% of their users that run Firefox with an adblocker and trying to make them pay now.

@FCE-dogs So true! I'm literally paying the 5 bucks a month to GameLoft for their MLP game simply just because I don't wanna see the same two, three ads a gajillion of times per day while playing. Ads are stupid. Always the same ads over and over again is... well, there's no words for it.

A good product sells by itself without a single ad. Period. The only thing that ads would ever do for me is show me that stuff even exists if I haven't heard about it otherwise already, which rarely ever is the case, because I buy stuff I actually need that I'm therefor actively looking for which makes me find it. And so I don't base my purchase decisions on ads at all, that's what reviews are there for. And if it's good, I don't even care about how good or bad the ads were and if it's bad and gets the hard pass, there's no difference. They could have had the best and funniest ad ever (like that Finnish headphones company that wants my money to "buy beer and build a Death Star", really had me in stitches!), it wouldn't make me buy their thing without having gotten some based opinions on the thing.

1:15 I'm dying already! This is Google, totally! 2:49 I literally just calculated my ads per time served - or rather not served because I've been running my shields on max power pips as well. Considering I'm using the interwebz for about 8 hours a day - it's probably less and therefor the following number would even go up! - my uBlock Origin is blocking 24 ads PER MINUTE avg, that is one EVERY 2.5 SECONDS. Again, probably more due to me not even using the interwebz for 8 hours a day even. 3:01 So true! I literally don't know ANYONE who ever used one except for the ones that I used to install one on thier systems! And god (oh, wait, that's me... but I'm a mare! So goddess, that is!) only knows how few of those didn't eventually fall for those "InStAlL gOoGlE cHrOmE rIgHt NoW, iT's MuChEr MoReR sEcUrEr ThAn ThE cRaP yOu'Re UsInG nOw!" ads that are basically EVERYWHERE when you use an actual browser like Firefox (which is what I install on their rigs) instead of that crappy malwaretizing spyware of "Google, Be Evil, erm I mean Alphabet, Inc." 3:19 So based... 8:40 LOL, had me in stitches!
